The Big Picture
I have a lot of stuff here for learning Corel Painter, I know. It's because I've been doing this for years, since I wrote the first Corel Painter manual in 1991(!). The materials accumulate!
So here's what's going on.
My main thought has always been that people learn in different ways. Some people learn better by watching videos and online webinars; others prefer to read books and still others like to attend classes and private lessons in person. As a result, I offer all of the above.

A word about compatibility
Here at my Artistry website, you'll find some new tutorials and brushes for the latest versions of Corel Painter, while you'll discover many others were created using previous versions of Painter. These older materials are still compatible with newer versions of the software.
With every new version, Corel makes cosmetic changes to the interface and adds some new tools, but keeps a large percentage of the tools, brushes and features the same. So the techniques don't change when new software versions arrive. And I've been using the same art theories and Painter steps to paint commissioned paintings since Painter's debut 30(!) years ago. Corel may add some new bells and whistles to new versions, but the basic tools, brushes and techniques are carried over from version to version.
If you get stuck, I'm always available in email to answer questions. But I never get any. My tutorials really do work with the current versions of Painter.
For all of my latest tutorials and brushes, visit my Artistry Academy of Painting for Photographers website. There you'll find classes for turning photos into paintings in both Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. There are some standalone sampler classes available or you can become a member for the extra benefit of monthly personal feedback webinars.

All three books include art lessons and steps for paintings based on photographs in Corel Painter and are available in print and as Acrobat .pdf files. Additionally, the first volume also has information for painting based on photos in Adobe Photoshop and also covers painting on printed canvas with oils and acrylics.
