Susan writes:

I am always searching for more Painter Classes.

I began using Painter when it was called Fractal Design Painter and delivered in a paint bucket.

Understanding the endless possibilities of this program I persevered, using it even with its hiccups and oddities. Just work around them.

When I heard about Karen's Artistry Painting for Photographers Retreat and that she was the original writer of the manual, I thought this is a class I will need to take.

Someone who understands the program from the ground up will be able to shed light on and confirm the way Painter thinks.

My intuitions were correct.

Karen's agenda providing art concepts was a refreshing review of the lessons I had learned long ago in art school.

Then the bonus of Painter steps to create the paintings in Painter!

One of my prime interests was taking a photograph and turning it into a painting using Painter. I have dabbled with this in the past and is great fun and I love the look.

The confirmation of procedures from Karen was very helpful and made me feel secure and confident with how to proceed with my next painting, resulting in moving quicker towards the end result, and less fooling around and experimenting trying to achieve what my mind is imagining.

There are billions of possibilities within Painter.

I thought what was very important in Karen's class, is, she sticks to the agenda and helped us achieve our goals of turning photographs into paintings.
