How does Artistry Refer-a-Friend Work?

Artistry Refer-a-Friend is a great way for you to get in on Karen Sperling's wide range of highly respected instructional materials for learning to turn photos into paintings in Corel Painter while helping others in their search for great gifts. It's also a way for Karen Sperling to thank everyone for being such loyal customers, for referring their friends and to help them with their goals to learn to paint photos in Corel Painter.

All you have to do is refer a friend to Karen Sperling's artwork and portraits. When your friend buys artwork or pays for a commissioned portrait by Karen Sperling, your friend will earn a $25 credit toward his or her purchase and you will earn a $25 credit toward your next purchase of Artistry materials, including classes, private lessons, DVD's, CD's, books and ezines. Or you can apply your $25 friend referral credit toward Karen Sperling's artwork and portraits to give as gifts yourself.

How can I participate?

You let your friends and family know about Karen Sperling's art and portraits seen at her fine art web site. Karen paints traditional portraits with oils, acrylics and pastels and digital portraits with Corel Painter. Subjects range from people to pets to homes and she also has landscape and abstract fine art for sale.

When someone you know pays for a painting or a commissioned painted portrait, make sure they mention that they found Artistry and Karen Sperling through you--you can download the certificate at the top of this page and fill it out and email it to be sure you get the earned credit for the referral. Then your friend will receive a $25 Artistry Refer-a-Friend credit toward his or her portrait and you will receive a $25 credit toward your next purchase of anything from the Artistry or Karen Sperling Art and Photography web sites.

What purchases by my friends entitle us to Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits?

All painted art and portrait purchases directly through Karen Sperling and her Karen Sperling Art and Photography web site.

What purchases by my friends do not qualify for Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits?

Karen Sperling's photography purchased through the Karen Sperling Art and Photography web site and art prints purchased through third party web sites, and purchases of any Artistry instructional materials do not count toward the Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits.

What can we apply our Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits toward?

Anything on the Karen Sperling Art and Photography and Artistry web sites.

Is there anything we can't apply our Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits toward?

The Artistry Refer-a-Friend credits don't apply toward purchases on third party sites.

Are portraits limited to residents of a specific location?

Karen Sperling paints portraits based on photos that are sent to her, so she can create beautiful paintings from photos submitted from anywhere in the world!

How many people can I refer?

As many as you'd like! We welcome and appreciate all of your referred friends and family. The more referrals you make, the more you will offset your cost of learning to paint from Karen Sperling or the cost of a painting or portrait!

What are the Terms and Conditions?

For you to earn the referral credit, your friend cannot have already bought a painting or commissioned a painted portrait by Karen Sperling. Your $25 referral credit expires one year from the issue date. Artistry referral credits may not be redeemed for cash, may not be used for past purchases and are not transferrable.
